About your CBT

CBT training courses in North Yorkshire

Compulsory basic training (CBT) is a training course that includes various practical and theoretical elements. Contact us at York Motorcycle Training to enrol on our CBT courses.

The need for CBT

CBT doesn't have a test at the end of the course duration. This course is needed for you to have an understanding of the highway code and be familiar with riding a motorbike. It is recommended that you are suitably dressed, which includes wearing boots, jeans and warm clothing when you undertake the training. The course also includes a two-hour instructor supervised road ride. For more details, get in touch with us today!

Course fee

We charge £130 plus VAT per day for training from CBT to direct access. There are no hidden costs as well.
Redid my CBT here this morning and can't knock them at all. Instructors are spot on and make the day/experience brilliant. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks Dave and Rachael.
